


Martin Gilbert has worked in public libraries, including the foreign office, department of health and home office. He has been working as a researcher at Aurora Metro since June 2010, and taking care of the Aurora Metro archiving system.
Jackie Glasgow is financial controller at Aurora Metro Arts and Media. A trained accountant who has worked for clients like Sony and now runs her own firm Accountancy Made Simple, her careful budgeting, financial analysis and book keeping is vital in terms of delivering our projects as proposed, enabling us to apply for funding and continue planning more for 2012 and beyond.
Neil Gregory previously worked in advertising but at Aurora Metro he looks after all incoming submissions, reporting on as well as administrating the many manuscripts that we receive. He also looks after entrants to The Virginia Prize for Fiction, and processing applications.
Jaimie Henderson recently received his MA in Creative Writing from Lancaster University. His previous work has included working as a sports journalist for the Slovenia Times and writing product descriptions for a multinational company. Having relocated to Twickenham, he helps out with marketing, publicity and project research at Aurora. He is currently working on the Eel Pie Island project, gathering local support from a number of interested parties and investigating funding opportunities.
Laurane Marchive studies political sciences in Lille and French literature at the Sorbonne, and is undergoing a six month internship currently. At Aurora Metro
she has taken over marketing, publicity and website production for The Green Teen Cookbook project.
Sumedha Mane has a background in journalism, worked as a radio journalist for four years for commercial radio stations, and have a history in Communications and Admin work for corporate companies. Since joining Aurora Metro as administrator she has worked on press and publicity campaigns for a variety of projects. In her spare time she can be found doing stand-up comedy at venues in and around London.
Lesley MacKay has focused on administration and marketing at Aurora Metro and is one of the most long-standing members of the volunteer team. She was one of the key volunteers on our recent project How The Vote was Won which attracted over 5000 people in the borough of Richmond last year.
Thomas Skinner has recently completed a Post-Graduate Diploma in Journalism and works part-time at Richmond Theatre. With a particular interest in drama, he is working on script reading and administration.
Simon Smith is a technical writer and editor who provides invaluable support with all IT requirements in-house. He has set up a central server so we can share information and created an archiving system.
Jack Timney is an avid rollerblader and designer who has created the exciting new website for Aurora Metro Arts and Media (www.aurorametroartsandmedia.org). He also helps with other design work, producing our new logo for the charity, for example. He is keen to gain more experience in webdesign and can be contacted on jacktimney@live.com
